November 20 & 21, 2008, Atlanta, GA

We need a Visa for Brazil for our cruise in January.  We never seemed to have enough time to mail our passports away, so we decided to drive to Atlanta.  Our appointment at the Brazilian Consulate was for 12:45 so we left Myrtle Beach about 5:15 am.  We had breakfast along the way and hit one traffic tie-up.  We arrived the Consulate at 1:30.  There was no waiting, we paid, and were told to return the next morning.  We went to the High Museum, had lunch, and then went to see the Terra Cotta Warrior exhibit.

These pictures were taken in the gift shop.  No photos were allowed in the exhibit.  It was amazing.

We went back to the hotel and noticed that Ruben Studdard was starring in “Ain’t Misbehavin'” at the Fox Theater around the corner.  We walked over, got tickets, went to eat, and then went to the show.  It was very entertaining.

That evening there was also a football game, Georgia Tech vs. University of Miami.  Lots of traffic.
