Day 45–Sat., Feb. 19, 2011–At Sea

I think today would have to be our worst day at sea of this cruise.  We had rain and 66 degrees in the morning and rain most of the day.  The Tasman sea is rough – we rocked the whole day.  Golf was cancelled today because of the Mongolian Cookout being set up for lunch.  Ray enjoyed it again, but I had a grilled cheese sandwich.  My body has not been acting right for a few days.  We did ring toss and then it was time for HAL Chorale dress rehearsal.  Ray redeemed Grand Dollars for a flash drive.

This afternoon was the Passenger Talent Show with the HAL Chorale as the finale.  We had singers, an accordion player, a comedienne, a bird whistler and a magician.

The show tonight featured Simeon Wood, musician, and Lance Ringnald, Olympian.  Simeon played the flute, bass flute, penny whistle, reed flute and a pan flute.  Lance did some juggling and then a comedy routine on the silks.  When I met him on the elevator, he said he stayed with gymnastics and never left it.  That’s why he can still do all he does.  He composed the music for one of his juggling routines.
