Day 92–Thurs., Apr. 7, 2011–At Sea

After letting go the mooring lines and disembarking the Pilot we used the recommended routes as shown on the navigation charts to lead us safely away from the coast and into the deep waters of the Mediterranean Sea.  Our track leads us directly to a wide opening known as the Karpathou Strait which lies between the Greek Island of Rhodes to our right and Karpathos to out left.  Now in the Aegean Sea, we’ll zig zag our way around the islands toward Kusadasi, Turkey.

Today was a typical sea day with all the regular activities.  We painted a camel, did an obstacle course, traded in Dam dollars, had a Mongolian Cookout, crazy balloons, made an eye glass holder in crafts and had a full sing-through of our music in HAL Chorale.

After dinner the Amsterdam singers and dancers performed “Las Vegas Nights”.

We all live with the objective of being happy; our lives are all different and yet the same.”   -Ann Frank-
