Day 93–Fri., Apr. 8, 2011–Kusadasi, Turkey

    Kusadasi Pano 2

Kusadasi is a mecca for sun worshippers and historians alike.  Kusadasi has long attracted visitors heading to the famed Ephesus.  However, in past years, Kusadasi has developed into a tourist stop as well.  Carpets and leather, two products for which Turkey is famous, attract both the locals and visitors.

We played Wii before heading ashore.  We didn’t take a tour as we visited Ephesus in 2009.  This is one port where the shopping is right at the port.  We had a great time walking around the bazaar and in and out of shops.  The jewelry is amazing, such beautiful styles.  I love to window shop.  We spent 3 or 4 hours walking around.

We had dinner and I went to the movie, “Morning Glory” in the Queen’s Lounge and Ray went to sleep.  I enjoyed the movie.
