Day 30–Wed., Oct. 26, 2011 – At Sea

Hong Kong was great, but it is nice to be at sea and get back to normal.  There were lots of whitecaps this morning but the ship wasn’t rocking too much.  The sun was very hot on the Lido at 8:30 am on our way to breakfast.  Water Color was paint what you want, so I tried to finish a few things I was working on.  I finished them later in the room.  I wish I could Photoshop my paintings like I did on the computer.  Here are a few paintings I did.

Sue's Water Colors  Sue's Water ColorsSue's Water Colors   Sue's Water Colors  We had an invitation to attend a wine tasting, but it was at 10:45 a.m.  We didn’t go.  We went to the Crow’s Nest and did Wii bowling and then Ray went to a Culinary Demonstration.  After lunch we went to the Wajang for an introduction to speaking Indonesian (Bahasa).  They will have two more classes.  By then maybe I can say good morning.  We had some cards to give to one of the gals in the casino and we donated some money waiting for her to come to work.  We did an origami kimono card in crafts.  It came out cute.  At the end of class there was a full rainbow.  It was almost gone by the time I got outside with my camera.                                                                                               rainbowThe HAL Chorale started again but I decided not to join for this leg of the cruise.  I painted in the cabin instead.  Presti, our maître’d was one of the teachers of Bahasa and he came by our table to test us, but we failed.

The singers and dancers performed “Ultimate Broadway” tonight, an excellent show.  They work so hard when they are on stage.  There were a lot more people in the theater and the Lido now.  You can hear the ‘original’ cruisers saying they liked it the old way – lots more room.
