Nov. 5, 2012, Monday, Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas

Again, we could not manage to sleep in.  We put our bathing suits on but did not go ashore.  After breakfast we went to the pool to relax in the sun.  I tried to get in the pool, but the water was too cold.  I started reading a book I checked out from the library – “Lemon Meringue Pie Murder” by Joanne Fluke.  I finished it this evening.  It was a nice easy read and had some good recipes included.  After we cooked for a bit in the sun we decided to tour the ship again as I wanted to try out our new camcorder and Ray took pictures.  The ship was nice and quiet as most tendered ashore.

Great Stirrup Cay has some free services:  beaches, Island BBQ, volleyball, a first aid station, music and some activities.  The only things you were asked to bring ashore were towels and bug repellent.  The last tender was at 4 pm and we sailed shortly after.

The entertainment tonight was the show cast performing “That’s Entertainment”, a tribute to classic entertainment.  They were very good.  After that, we went up to the Spinnaker for comedy with Michael Sommerville.  He was excellent!
