Day 10–Mon., Jan. 14, 2013 ~ Callao, Peru

Callao was founded in 1537, just two years after Lima, and soon became the main port for Spanish commerce in the Pacific.  The local Port Authority offered a free shuttle service to the Larcomar Shopping Center at Miraflores.  It took about 45 minutes.  We wasted a lot of time trying to get on the Internet with the iPad mini.  It never happened.  We went across the street and browsed through the mall.  Here are some shots I took from the shuttle bus.

Back at the ship, they had some stalls with souvenirs.

There was a Gaucho BBQ Party for dinner on the Lido, but we ate in the dining room.

The evening show was a wonderful performance by”Incamerica”, local musicians and dancers brought aboard for the evening.
