There was a shuttle to the Hai Yen Hotel in town that we decided to take.  There was nothing near by, except for guys in your face to take a taxi or a cyclos (pedicab) ride to the Cho Dam central market.  The way they drive, I was leery about getting into one of those bikes.  We took a few pictures of the War Memorial and went back to the beach.  The bus ran along the beach on Tran Phu St. and it was interesting the way they shaped their trees and bushes.

We did some shopping back at the pier.  It was very humid but there was a breeze.  There is a cable car that goes over to Hon Tri Nguyen, or Mieu Island near the Cau Da port area.  At night the stanchions are lit up and they look like the Eiffel Tower.  At 4 pm there was a local show in the lounge.

Bonnie found quilling in the market.  Another woman found quilling on Mieu Island.  After dinner there was another show, Jonathan Clark.  He did comedy and vocal impressions.
