Day 91, Sat., April 6, 2013 — At Sea

We worked some more on giraffes in painting and then we had some more time for me to work on photos.  There was a disembarkation talk this morning for those leaving in Cape Town.  Ray did go to quoits.  There was another Mongolian Cookout for lunch.  We went to the Safari DVD preview and ordered it.  They got wonderful shots.  We made earrings in crafts using Cape pearls.  I lost the nose piece from my new glasses just before dinner.  I found one but will have to email Hong Kong and see if they will mail me another one.  Ray tried to redeem our Grand Dollars for a flash drive, but they had no more.

After dinner we went to see the master magician, Brett Sherwood.  We sat down stairs so we could see him.  He was very good.  I was one of his “helpers” and he was able to name the card that I chose in a deck of cards without even touching the pack.  Don’t know how he did it.  Tomorrow, Cape Town!

“We’re so engaged in doing things to achieve purposes of outer value that we forget that the inner value, the rapture that is associated with being alive is what it’s all about.”  ~  Joseph Campbell
